Why homeowners choose us

We stay narrow on purpose and we don't subcontract the roof itself out to whoever happens to be free that week.

Fixed written pricing

Every quote is a fixed price against a written scope. If we open the roof and find rotten decking, we photograph it and price it before we replace it — nobody gets a surprise invoice at the end of the job.

Our own crews

We run two crews and we don't take on more work than those two crews can finish properly. The person who quoted your job is the person standing on your roof.

Licensed and insured

Fully licensed in Texas with general liability and workers' comp in place. We'll hand you the certificates before we start, without being asked twice.

A small crew, on purpose

Big enough to get your roof done in a week. Small enough that you deal with the same people from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Summit Roofing Co. has been working on homes around Austin since 2011. Most of what we do is shingle roofs on single-family houses between about 1,200 and 3,500 square feet — replacements, repairs, leak tracing, and the storm damage work that follows a bad hail season.

If your project is a commercial flat roof or a slate roof, we're the wrong company, and we'll tell you that on the phone rather than waste your afternoon.

Get an instant estimate

Answer a few questions about your roof and you'll get a realistic price range in about a minute — no phone call required to find out roughly what you're looking at.

The estimator asks for the property address, the rough age and shape of the roof, and what's prompting the work — age, a leak, or storm damage. It uses that to put a range around the job. It's a starting point, not a contract: the final fixed price comes after somebody has actually been up there and looked at the decking, the flashing and the ventilation.

Once you've got your range, the next step is a site visit. That takes about forty-five minutes: we'll get up on the roof, check the decking from the attic side where we can, and come back to you with a fixed written price within two working days.
